We’re also expanding our Commerce platform to include offline shopping experiences, like in-person payment and POS payments.
Commerce is not new to GoDaddy, but the team will help write this new chapter with a laser focus on winning the market.
Our culture is rooted in empathy and collaboration. We love building products that help our clients (seniors) as well as our caregivers (primarily women of color), both historically marginalized groups, underserved by design and technology. We believe the best solutions come from leveraging different perspectives and strengths, so we constantly pull in one another to vet our thinking. We work closely with Design and PM throughout a project lifecycle, gaining a closer view on how other teammates work through challenges. And we contribute early to discussions on product approaches and implementation strategies.
At GoDaddy, we want a team as diverse as our customers because we believe diverse teams build better products and make a better place for all of us to work. In our pursuit to build an inclusive workforce, we know we need to hold ourselves publicly accountable. To that end we began to publish our diversity and salary data six years ago and have committed to sharing it yearly to show our steps forward, as well as where we still need improvement. Like any objective, it’s an ongoing process, but we are making steady progress. Ultimately, the best way to determine where we need more work sits within the data. The raw numbers we’ve collected over our six years of reporting show us where we can improve and where we’ve met or exceeded our goals. By following the data, we can hold ourselves accountable, as well as institute practices to ensure that we do better in the future.
