Four years ago, Vungle launched #VungleCares, an initiative to give back to our communities. In response to Covid-19, Vungle partnered with top Publishers to drive forward our Ads for Social Good initiative, with the goal of leveraging our platform to raise money for charities in need and raising awareness for public health. Since inception, we have proudly served over 50M views across over 40+ apps, promoting charities such as Make a Wish, CDC Foundation, and Build Aid, and created gamified PSAs promoting human health awareness. At Vungle we’ve built processes to better open up our candidate pool and remove bias from our hiring and our promotion process. We have over 30 nationalities in a company that is just over 300 people strong and we are proud of this. But just as importantly, we need to make sure that we have an environment that is inclusive, that welcomes people who have the skills and values to do the work and also come from a variety of backgrounds.
Over the years we have rolled out the following training and processes: structured interview process, hiring for Company Values (emphasizing on “culture add” and not “culture fit”), unconscious bias training for all new hires, transparent career paths and leveling. We provide resources for continuous learning and are regularly reviewing to ensure we follow the most up to date best practices.
