​​Adyen is looking for a Group Product Manager passionate about technology to define and drive the Developer Experience for the entire Platform and Financial Services product suite.

Your team’s mission is to create services and tools that abstract away the underlying complexity of our products and enable our customers to focus on what matters most – creating high value, high quality, high-performance products for their end customers.

Our customers are the fastest growing, global platforms in the world, which are expanding their existing businesses by adding payments and financial services into their service offering. They need the ability to quickly implement and test new user flows and business cases and customize the offering to their end-user needs.

You will drive and oversee our external developer experience across our API’s, SDKs, components, testing infrastructure, and documentation. Your teams will have a deep understanding on how our customers interact with our products. You will guide the teams to develop technology, tools, and capabilities which will simplify product implementations and enable customers to add new products and go live faster.

In this role, you will [Qualifications] :

  • Define the product strategy and roadmap for the product suite driving the Developer Experience for Platforms and Financial Services product offering, including testing platform and flows, framework for widgets and SDKs, developer tools, and documentation
  • Grow and mentor product teams who are responsible for delivering a best-in-class experience with Adyen's bank platform for Developers outside of Adyen
  • Serve as the point of contact across Adyen product teams and cross-functional stakeholders such as implementation, operations, and technical support teams when it comes to API design, testing and implementation flows as well as developer tools
  • Collaborate closely with your engineers, commercial teams, internal stakeholders, and partners to identify opportunities, develop effective solutions and deliver them across product lines
  • Work closely with our developer community to understand current developer experience pain points
  • Serve as a thought leader and sounding board across Adyen for supporting and driving innovative solutions which enhance the experience our customers have with our product offering

What you need to succeed [Requirements] :

  • 8+ years of experience in product at a high-growth company, including at least 3 years leading and mentoring a global product team
  • Leadership - you have directly managed multiple teams, and you also have experience in growing a product organization in a large, global company
  • Proven record - you have experience driving technical software products from kick-off to launch and a deep understanding of the landscape Developer Experience/ Tooling, APIs, API lifecycles for optimization
  • Technical aptitude - you have a strong technical background and enjoy going deep with Developers, Product Managers, Tech Commercial roles on performance and evaluation
  • Customer/end-user empathy - you enjoy delivering frictionless experiences that delight developers. A flexible and creative thinker with the ability to define business trade-offs, generate out-of-the-box solutions, and manage ambiguity
  • Communication - you have strong written and verbal communication skills with a talent for precise articulations of developer problems
