Group Product Manager, Trello

    San Francisco, CA, Remote

Full Time

Working at Atlassian

Atlassian can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity. Assuming you have eligible working rights and a sufficient time zone overlap with your team, you can choose to work remotely or return to an office as they reopen (unless it’s necessary for your role to be performed in the office). Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.

As the Group Product Manager driving strategy and execution for Trello, you will lead a team of passionate Product Managers and partner deeply with your peers in Engineering and Design to delight customers and grow revenue. You will be responsible for the performance of the business, setting direction, executing on an aggressive roadmap, and growing the world-class Product Management team under you.

On your first day, we'll expect you to have:

  • A minimum of 5 years experience leading a product group
  • Significant experience driving strategy for a SaaS subscription business, from self-serve Freemium model to large scale Enterprise adoption
  • Experience building consumer grade experiences across Web and Mobile platforms
  • Passion for people leadership, with experience managing Product Managers
  • Real enthusiasm for understanding customer needs and a strong motivation to solve their problems
  • Ability to inspire your teams to build better products with a constant dedication to understand, question and improve the experiences for our users
  • Significant experience defining and launching features that meet the needs of our customers and our business
  • Ability to communicate directly and clearly, with a strong emphasis on careful listening
  • Good design instincts matched with deep analytical thinking.

More about our team

Product Managers at Atlassian are responsible for the complete product offering, from early stage research and ideation, through to implementation and iteration based on key success metrics. We are deeply ambitious and do our very best at all times to validate assumptions about our users, with various types of testing. We are not looking for product managers who just want to concentrate on one area, such as user research or visual design – we need you to be eager to deliver across the entirety of the product development lifecycle. We are keen for you to bring experience that you can impart on the rest of us but also have the interest to improve in many other skills, and be driven to constantly learn and improve.

Product development teams are led by a triad of team members – a product manager, a design lead, and engineering lead. We work collaboratively, with the product manager as the decision maker for product strategy, road map, and feature priorities.

Our perks & benefits
