Description
Amazon WorkSpaces is leading the cloud desktop revolution and we are looking for a Principal Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join our leadership team in Bellevue. We recently kicked off work on a new green field product and are in need of a rock star TPM to influence and drive the direction of the program. This is a challenging and ambiguous area with a high degree of visibility, including managing key relationships with external partners. Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics or Computer Engineering or equivalent relevant work experience
- 7+ years of technical program management experience in a related industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to present in large groups and handle high-pressure communication
- Experience with managing large cross-functional projects
- Thorough understanding of software development lifecycle from conception to delivery
Preferred Qualifications
- Significant technical depth and understanding of distributed systems and engineering best practices
- Experience building VDI solutions.
- Experience building fully managed, cloud native products
- Experience building client applications
- Experience with large scale web services
- Management of large scale enterprise applications
