We’re cooking up some new ideas in AWS End User Computing (EUC), and we’re looking for candidates with particular sets of skills. Skills acquired over a successful software career – including deep knowledge of Linux operating systems and Linux desktops, application streaming technologies, web browsers, web services, and more. Skills that make you a good fit for a team like ours.
We built AWS EUC services to give companies the agility to respond to the changing needs of their workforce. Our vision is to be the best place for customers to run and access their desktops and applications, from any device. EUC is growing fast and we’re working on new ideas and inventions to further this vision. You can read more about AWS EUC here: https://aws.amazon.com/products/end-user-computing/
This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a team launching new products and ideas in the EUC space. You will help shape and deliver a new AWS product, using the power and scale of AWS to meet security and productivity needs for our EUC customers. You will lead a team building secure, reliable, fast, and highly scalable solutions – while also simplifying both IT administration and the end user’s experience. In the process you will have the opportunity to work with a number of industry leading AWS services and peers.
We’re looking for well-rounded software managers with a track record of solving challenging problems and creating great products for end users. As an SDM on our team, you’ll own engineering for your product end-to-end from design to development, and work closely with senior technical leaders within the team and across AWS. You’ll have a sound understanding of computer science fundamentals and practical industry experience, working across the technology stack.
If your particular set of skills align with our vision – and you are ready to be part of a diverse, inclusive, and creative team – then we would love to talk to you.
