Job Description

BitSight is looking for a strategic-minded partner business manager with a track record of success.  In this role, you will own the relationships with strategic partner portfolio.  This includes managing the existing partner relationships as well as developing new ones within the existing business models we have defined. The ideal candidate is a team player who possesses the following skills and attributes:  excellent relationship-building skills;  the ability to develop strategic plans while executing the tactics required;  thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where multi-tasking is the norm; the ability to interact with partner and BitSight sales teams to ensure they are teaming effectively as necessary; the ability to interact with product management as necessary to solution integration and licensing for new partners.

Primary job responsibilities:

  • Identify, recruit and on-board strategic partners. In general these partners will involve an integration between BitSight and their solutions. In general these partners do not include resellers and distributors.
  • Provide strategic sales and marketing direction by engaging with partners to understand their business objectives, strategies, tactics and how we can positively impact these.
  • Create and execute business plans with the strategic partners
  • Promote partner onboarding, training, and incentive programs
  • Ensure key partner processes are flowing smoothly and improve them where necessary
  • Build strong reseller relationships with relevant BitSight teams including sales, product management and marketing.
  • Engage strategic partners management, marketing and sales to build awareness for BitSight, generate qualified leads, and drive new business.
  • Monitor, analyze and report performance and numeric indicators such as pipeline, deal registrations and revenue.
  • Coordinate with marketing to optimize events, communications, and sales tool leverage.
  • Team with our strategy team who develops new business models which enable new types of strategic partners.

Channel skills

  • Minimum 5 years partner management experience is required.
  • Experience in cyber security is required
  • Experience working with technology products is required
  • Experience building relationships and executing campaigns with technology partners, and consulting firms
  • Experience in strategic sales and marketing planning.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-directed and able to translate broad directives into useful tactics and meaningful activities
  • Must have excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Well organized and responsive.
  • Highly motivated, with a proven track record in expanding channel sales and marketing success.
  • Experience with CRM software, email campaign software, channel portal software, Google docs
  • Strong preference for those with experience in high growth similar stage/size SaaS vendors
