Senior User Experience Designer

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join the Product Management team at Conversica. Strong candidates should possess a proven track record of delivery, working and influencing in a cross-functional context, and using data to drive decision-making. The Senior Product Designer will draw on his/her experience to build relationships and maximize the quality of his/her individual output. This role will report to the Sr. UX Manager.
The ideal candidate will have a customer-first mentality as well as grounding in design thinking as a way to rethink our business. A deep understanding of customer research, knowledge gathering, ideation, prototyping, design process and concept visualization/prototyping are vital for this role.
This position is based remotely, however our preference would be to have someone based in one of the following regions: Bellingham, WA; Seattle, WA; Foster City, CA


  • Own, manage and update the Conversica Design System.
  • Collaborate with product management, business stakeholders and front-end engineering to define best-in-class customer, partner and developer experiences for key Conversica initiatives.
  • Lead and own end-to-end design process of product features and iterations, drive design requirements.
  • Independently identify opportunities where research can inspire, optimize, or evaluate the design.
  • Structure customer research in partnership with the Product Management team.
  • Develop insight-driven design with a clear POV to make strong recommendations.
  • Deliver design solutions that drive competitiveness.
  • Champion design thinking philosophy throughout the organization.


  • 3 or more years’ experience as a Product, UX or Visual Designer, preferably with a background in B2B and/or SaaS.
  • Strong portfolio of end-to-end design projects that demonstrate thoughtful, simple solutions to complex UX problems.
  • Proficient in Figma.
  • Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, manage, prioritize, and deliver multiple projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate product and business requirements or wireframes into exceptional product user interfaces and user experiences.
  • Able to successfully manage multiple situations and competing priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal and group communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Collaborative disposition, capable of working cross functionally and building strong relationships.
  • Self-motivation, proactivity, and flexibility.
  • An interest in MLUX and HCI in the AI era is a plus.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS, JavaScript, React, etc. is a plus.
  • Experience with Agile development and SDLC, including Jira, Confluence, and Aha! is a plus
  • Education: A BA/BS degree in a Design-oriented discipline is preferable but not necessary.
