About the role

Hearth’s first product for contractors has driven hundreds of millions in financial transactions while helping level the playing field for thousands of small business owners. As we deliver powerful follow-on products, we are looking for a scrappy, creative and analytical leader to join our growth team.

You will be focused on building a growth machine across customer acquisition and product engagement. Success in this role will be directly tied to the incremental revenue driven by your efforts and value added to our customers. Projects include owning the progression of our insurance tech product and using multiple channels to unlock cross sell as a lever for customer usage.

We are looking for someone with experience driving significant outcomes in a fast-paced environment that is hungry for an ownership-heavy, career expanding role.

What You'll Do

  • Scale an acquisition experimentation engine. We generate thousands of leads per month and work thousands more that start out cold. You will test, run, and scale experiments throughout the funnel. This will impact the prospects we work, how we work them, and you will drive measurable value to the business.
  • Increase multi-product engagement. You will be on the front lines during our transition from a one to multi-product solution. This includes testing and scaling the best channels, messaging and timing for cross-sell. You will have the chance to deliver product insights and sit in the room as we discuss what to build next.
  • Improve the rigor of our testing, forecasting and measurement. Working with our growth data analyst, demand gen, finance, and others, you’ll improve the granularity in which we evaluate success and allocate resources. Anything is on the table.
  • Get your hands dirty while raising up those around you. We're a small team with lots to accomplish. Everyone is in the weeds on their own projects and helping others see success.

About you:

  • You have 3+ years in a highly autonomous role, driving clear, numerical results (product, marketing, growth, biz ops, etc).
  • You’re an expert when it comes to testing, building and scaling campaigns that drive sales and/or product usage.
  • You have stellar analytical skills. You aren’t afraid to explore large data sets as we build models and prioritize initiatives. SQL experience preferred.
  • You are a first principles critical thinker with a bias towards asking questions and speaking your mind.
  • You are known as a clear and honest communicator. You can quickly build rapport across the organization and get buy-in on complex initiatives.
  • You are a team player. You take responsibility, care about winning and you raise those up around you.
  • You are a scrappy go-getter. You doesn’t sit idle when there’s no task immediately assigned, but rather dig in and creates your own structure.
  • You have excellent written skills. You can synthesize complex ideas into simple, clear overviews.

  • You aren’t comfortable learning new tools, getting your hands dirty, or writing email copy.
  • You avoid ambiguity and shy away from problems without a clear solution.
  • You want to clock in and out every day, without meaningfully pushing yourself and your work forward.
  • You are easily overwhelmed, quick to blame others, and avoid accountability.

Nice to haves

  • Knowledge of the home improvement space and/or SMBs.
  • Experience with marketing tools like Salesforce, Marketo & Outreach.
  • Spanish literacy.
  • Experience writing winning email and website copy preferred.
