Position Overview

As a Fullstack Engineer, you will join our growing and talented engineering team that is split across our London and New York offices. Our team is fun, friendly, progressive and diligent, and candidates should fit right in!  We have a very welcoming and supportive culture. As part of the Research team, you’ll work on primarily greenfield projects and initiatives with high risk or uncertain value, which if proven successful would significantly contribute to growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and develop new projects and initiatives.
  • Work across the entire stack and with multiple departments across the company.
  • Contribute to discussions around new ideas and improvements to existing products.
  • Write clear and maintainable code, and collaborate with other engineers.
  • Take ownership and initiative; capable of working independently.
  • Have a strong appreciation for the business side, and a broader view of objectives outside the purely technical.
  • Able to create compelling analyses, and estimate solutions to problems involving unknowns.

Skills and Experience:

  • Python: 3+ years of experience.
  • Javascript / Front End: 1-3+ years of experience
  • Unix / Linux development environment.
  • Web application development.
  • Databases; relational and non-relational.
  • Cloud infrastructure (we use AWS).
  • Confident with Git version control and code reviews.
  • Are receptive to feedback and are always looking to learn and improve.
  • Excellent communication skills and comfortable in collaborative environments.
  • Curiosity and confidence to debate customer value and impact.
