About the role:

Resident’s business is growing quickly and to support this growth, we have identified the need for a Sr. Analyst, Financial Systems Administrator.  This individual will be the in-house expert for our NetSuite ERP functionality and its interactions/integrations with other financial systems and will have a solid understanding of all facets of the NetSuite platform. In addition, this role will serve as the technical point of contact for NetSuite and provide front line support to all NetSuite users at Resident. The Sr. Analyst, Financial Systems Administrator will analyze, plan and provide solutions, and in some instances, deliver training.

What you will be doing;

  • Perform day-to-day operation, maintenance and support tasks for all NetSuite applications and associated financial systems
  • Configure integrations between NetSuite and other business applications
  • Actively participate in system enhancements including development, testing, data validation, documentation, user support and on-going application maintenance
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of NetSuite functionality, customizations and integrations
  • Create processes and controls that support a SOX environment
  • Prepare customized reports, KPI dashboards, queries, saved searches, and workflows within the NetSuite platform
  • Advise users and the organization on best practices in order to maximize the use of NetSuite
  • Develop, document, and implement policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure data integrity, appropriate security/user segregation of duties, and change management protocols,
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities for application optimization, integration, redesign, and/or development
  • Ensure users and the company are maximizing the functionality and utility of NetSuite
  • Create and manage systems roadmap with goal to achieve scalability and realize efficiencies through automation
  • Understand current processes and challenges to identify system changes/enhancements/modifications to address issues/improve processes
  • Manage system enhancements, including new and modified functionality
  • Perform regular system updates as needed
  • Manage project lists, IT tickets, and tasks
  • Support business initiatives
  • Resolve system issues
  • Administer user accounts and permissions
  • Manage finance systems-related projects
  • Provide training and support to all NetSuite users
  • Perform ad hoc, special projects, and other requests as assigned

What you’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Technology or related field
  • 5+ years of prior experience and success with NetSuite implementation and administration
  • Prior experience supporting a Finance or Accounting team in an IT capacity
  • General knowledge and understanding of SOX and ITGCs
  • Ability to manage projects
  • Process improvement mindset
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confidence in presenting and providing training
  • Ability to thrive in an agile environment and can adapt to change and take initiative
