The Role

Salary Range:$65,000.00 Annually Onwards

Sasaki is moving to downtown Boston! Along with our move, we need more hands-on deck on our Information Technology team. We are seeking a systems administrator to join our IT department and help maintain our desktop systems and SaaS applications.


  • Maintaining, configuring, and ensuring reliable operation of our computer systems, virtual environment, and integration/automation processes.
  • Overseeing weekly software updates on end-user workstations. Coordinating with team members to prioritize updates, creating and testing automated deployments, and monitoring the roll-out to ensure there are no problems.
  • Administering SaaS applications and implementing updated features. Making recommendations about subscription plans changes, additional features, or alternative software investments.
  • Establishing integrations between various IT systems.
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing the impact of issues.
  • Assisting service desk with support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions.
  • Providing documentation and technical specifications for planning and implementing new IT systems or infrastructure.
  • Analyzing business operations and the business's computer systems to improve efficiency.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • At least four years of experience in a technical support role.
  • The ability to remain up-to-date with the latest software developments
  • Strong technical background
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills
  • Experience with virtual desktops environments, software deployments, and both remote and in-person support strongly preferred
  • Experience with PowerShell preferred.
  • Resourcefulness and quick-thinking nature to troubleshoot new and critical technical issues as they arise
  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills and an ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Interested in contributing to a team-oriented, collaborative and innovative environment
